Compare · Lovable, v0, Bolt

Lovable starts the app. Lindi is where a team keeps it going.

One is very good at getting something to exist. The other is for the product that already does, and the designers, builders and developers who work on it together.

Lovable turns a description into a working app, and it has kept adding to that: Visual Edits for changing an element’s text and styling by clicking it, plan and agent modes, a Supabase backend, GitHub sync, and up to twenty people in a project at once. For a prototype, a side project or a first version in an afternoon it is genuinely hard to beat, and this page is not an attempt to.

Lindi is for the next part. It opens the product you already ship, on your repository, and gives the people around it one place to work: a full design canvas for the designer — frames, layers, components, every screen at once, the tools they already use — Build mode for asking in words, Code mode for the engineer, and a pull request at the end so nothing lands without review. It is the difference between making an app and running one.

  • Use Lovable for

Starting something: a prototype, a side project, a first version of an app that does not exist yet, in an afternoon.

  • Use Lindi for

Keeping something going: the button, the flow, the screen in the product your users already have — designers, builders and developers on one file, with engineering in the loop.
